Betsy and Jinx-1st Place
Super Dog at the 1999 Pup-Peroni Eastern Regional
Betsy's third Border Collie Jinx came from a
sheep farm in Pennsylvania. While she was not ready for a puppy,
getting Jinx was just meant to be. Betsy brought Jinx to Terri
Arnold at eight weeks of age, and Terri has worked with Betsy
and Jinx ever since. Jinx is also Betsy's second breed champion
and her first herding titled dog.
* Jinx earned a 200 his very first time in the ring in the
fall of 1996 for the first leg of his UKC CD
* First place in Novice at the 1997 Eastern Regional
* In 1998, he earned an AKC 200 in Open for the third leg of
his CDX
* Second in Novice at the 1997 Classic
* First Place Super Dog Division- 1999 Pup-Peroni Eastern
Regional
* In 2000, the pair placed fifth in Super Dog at the
Classic
* Third in Super Star at the All Star Obedience and Agility
Championships
* Jinx has eight perfect "200" scores in Novice,
Open and Utility.
* Winner of the Jack Godsil Memorial Award for a perfect
"200" score in Open at the 1998 Eastern Regional
* In 2000, Betsy and Jinx placed first in the herding group
at the AKC Obedience Invitational.
* In 2001, Betsy and Jinx placed fourth in the herding group
at the AKC Obedience Invitational
* In 2002, Betsy and Jinx placed fourth in the herding group
at the AKC Obedience Invitational
* Jinx has his PT title in herding
* Jinx has his MX and MXJ title in
Agility.
* Jinx has more than 1000 OTCH
points!
