Shelley Clawson, Instructor

Shelley Clawson has been training with Betsy Scapicchio since 2000. She joined the Top Dog Staff as an instructor and CGC evaluator in March of 2003.Shelley spent a large part of her childhood training and showing horses. After a serious back injury and a surgery she decided to train dogs instead. Shelley's dogs include:     

U-CDX Haley's Winter Storm CDX, ASCA CDX, CGC. Haley was the first white Boxer ever to win High in Trial at the American Boxer Club Nationals. Haley was #1 Novice A Boxer in 2001 according to Front and Finish. She was #3 Novice Boxer in 2001 for dogs defeated according to the Hoflin rating system. Haley finished her titles with 2 High in trials, 8 firsts, 2 seconds and 3 thirds. Haley was trained through Utility but unfotunatly she passed due to a sudden illness before she was able to earn her UD. Haley is sorley missed by many who knew her.

Ch. Gingery's Pink Panther CGC. Panther, a Chinese Crested, was owner handled to his Championship by Shelley. They competed together at Westminster in 2003. Panther can be seen on a welcome mat sold in pet stores by Barb Augello.

Gingery's Reigning Dynomite CD, CGC. Rain, also a Chinese Crested, was only entered in Obedience 4 times and qualified every time. Rain finished her title and a bumper leg with 2 firsts and 2 seconds.

Sunchase Rhythm and Blues CGC. Shelley's new boxer, Indigo, has just started her career in both Conformation and Obedience. She has 2 AKC legs and 2 ASCA legs toward her CD titles.Shelley has shown many Chinese Crested dogs in Conformation and earned countless Championship points.
