Sue Ely, Assistant Instructor

Sue with a friend's lurcher
Sue Ely has been breeding Norfolk Terriers since 1962. She
owns seven conformation champions, most of which she works
in AKC Earthdog competitions; six of them have Master Earthdog
titles in addition to their championships. Two of them are
certified therapy dogs which visit a rehabilitation center
every month. Sue also hunts natural quarry with her terriers;
last year she won a coveted Working Certificate from the
American Working Terrier Association. Sue began training
at Top Dog in 1998 and has earned CDs on three dogs and a
CDX on one; currently she is working in Utility, Novice,
and Puppy Kindergarten. Sue serves as Chairman of Rescue/Rehoming
for the Norwich and Norfolk Terrier Club of America and has
served on the Board of that club for the past fifteen years.
