Entries
Obedience and CGC are Pre-entry Only! Agility may pre-enter for discounted price or enter day of match. To enter, please print and complete the Top Dog Match Entry Form and send the form along with your entry fee and self-addressed, stamped envelope (SASE) to Betsy Scapicchio, Top Dog Obedience School, 124 Flanders-Netcong Road, Flanders, NJ 07836. Please send a separate form for each match that you are entering!
Last minute entries will be accepted during the week preceding the match via telephone or e-mail. However, persons who enter via telephone or e-mail and do not pay for the reserved slots, whether or not they actually attend the match, will be able to enter future Top Dog matches only by mailing their entries with payment ahead of time; they will not be able to enter by telephone or e-mail.
Fees
Match entries: Obedience $10 per entry. CGC $15. Agility $8 for the first entry and $7 for each additional entry of the same dog. Make checks payable to Top Dog Obedience School. ALL ENTRIES ARE NON-REFUNDABLE! If you can not attend, please feel free to send a substitute. Every effort will be made to accommodate requests for particular times, however, time requests are not guaranteed. Enter early for the best chance at preferred times.
Obedience Judging
Match judging is indoors (heated/air-conditioned) in three fully-matted rings, at scheduled times. Hours available are subject to change. Classes may begin later depending upon the number of entries.
* Utility: 11 minutes/entry, 9:00 a.m
* Open: 9 minutes/entry, 9:00 a.m.
* Novice: 7 minutes/entry, 9:00 a.m.
CGC Test
Begins at approximately 12:00 noon. Bring dog license, shot record, and brush.
Agility Judging
Begins at approximately 9:00 am. Match judging is outdoors in our fully-fenced agility ring with "Surefoot" surface. Standard Course in the Morning and Jumpers Course in the Afternoon. Nested courses--Novice or Open/Excellent. 2 minutes/entry. Walkthroughs each hour.
Facilities
Top Dog is located at 24 Bartley Road, Flanders, NJ. Plenty of crate and warm up space! Donuts, bagels, snacks, and coffee and sodas available. Fast food is available nearby or bring your own lunch.
